Live & Dine Event
Commissioned by Showroom58 at ADAC to make their vision of an antebellum, Southern plantation meets chic, urban town home. This design served as their tablescape for the Live & Dine event.
The table featured a "faux" magnolia tree erected in a golden obelisk. Cascading from the tree canopy were orchid blooms on delicate gold wires while the branches were dripping with gold tinged Spanish moss. The tree "grew" from a large clear glass cube "pond" with a gravel sand bottom. The "pond" was inhabited by scores of gold fish and accented with floating leaves and orchids that had "fallen" from the tree. In the center of the "pond" around the "tree" trunk two branch inspired candelabra with pillar candles were featured. The table was additionally accented with magnolia leaves and orchid blooms placed as if they had gently fallen tumbled from the canopy above.
In a small sitting area off to the side of the table, a beautiful, tall composition was created for Showroom58's silver, mercury glass wood stand. Erupting skyward from the vase was a collection of bells of Ireland, pink lady protea blooms, blue thistle and rustic branches. The highly textured piece was collared with shamrock green hydrangea and cascading green eucalyptus.
